The Great Canadian Morph (Day One)

With all the talk of 'coalition' this campaign and an unprecedented amount of common-cause co-operation (okay, just kidding about the second one), I thought it might be a good idea to consider what it really looks like when Canadians unite.

So I decided to go to www.morphthing.com to play around a little. It takes faces that you upload and 'morphs' them together, so that you get a resulting image that is 'half' from the first face and 'half' from the second.

I uploaded the faces of twenty noteworthy Canadians. More than half are politicians, yes, but a good deal are Canadians famous from other walks of life. And while among the politicians, each current party leader is included (big hint there), there are also cabinet ministers, non-federal politicians, and former politicians.

I then let MorphThing do its thing, matching Canadians up two by two. The results are in some cases horribly ugly but in some cases more attractive than either of the originals. Though I have no idea how to actually programme data fields, etc., your job is simple: to look at the 'morphed' photo and identify, in each case, the two famous Canadians who have been morphed together.

I'll be presenting this over three days: today, we get just the pictures. Tomorrow, I'll give you the names of the twenty Canadians, in mixed order (this will be a huge clue). Then Tuesday, we'll get the answers, with thumbnails of the original pictures I used.
